DECENT MACHINERY heavy-duty industrial fans are used throughout the brick manufacturing process. Grinding and blending of materials require pneumatic conveying fans as well as dust collection fans at hopper and transfer points. Although the brick molding process is a wet cake, there are drying systems and mold preparation points that require high-pressure fans. The kiln areas of the plants require combustion blowers as well as high-temperature industrial exhaust and recirculation fans. The brick industry has used axial fans for these kiln applications in the past. These can be replaced with higher efficiency plug and centrifugal fans.
